Blackwood and Kirkmuirhill’s best kept secret

This must be the best kept secret in the area!  The Hope Hub has completed the first stage of its development making available much needed meeting space within Blackwood and Kirkmuirhill.

The “Hub” now has:

  • A 200 seating capacity multi-function auditorium, and has become the home of the Hope Church, with the first service being held on 10th December 2017.

  • Four multi-function meeting rooms
    Each meeting room can accommodate up to 30 seats.

        

Already, they are in demand! With regular usage by:

  • Velocity Dance Academy
  • School In-service day club
  • Hope Church Breakfast Club
  • Come Paint With Us – Art Classes
  • Blackwood and Kirkmuirhill Playparks Group
  • Community First Responders
  • Princess Royal Trust Lanarkshire Carers Centre
  • Alcoholics Anonymous – Third Tradition Wednesday

Hope Hub has been created from the former Care Home at 183 Carlisle Road, Blackwood.

We have exciting plans for the rest of the building, over the next year we plan to create additional meeting rooms, these are available for community use, as well as a community Café.
